Scholarship Application

The Knights of Columbus Council at St. Thomas Aquinas in Indianola is proud to support the academic journey of our parish’s students. We offer scholarships to graduating high school seniors and continuing college students who demonstrate a commitment to Catholic values, academic excellence, and community service. This financial aid is intended to help ease the burden of higher education expenses. We encourage all eligible and deserving students within the St. Thomas Aquinas community to complete the application below for consideration.

To be eligible the applicant must:

  • Be a dependent of a KC member of Council 5032 (living or deceased) or a member of Council 5032
  • Be a graduating high school senior or a full-time undergraduate student of an accredited college or technical school.
  • Be practicing his/her catholic faith.

We know God as being all powerful. He chooses to use His power by generously showering us with gifts and gracious. These give us the power to seek and obtain holiness so that we may be worthy of entering his Kingdom. This generosity is given to us in many ways. Some are given to all of us while others are specific to His creative plan to each individual. Write in a single page essay, no less than 1/2 page in length how God gives power to us.

All parishioners are encouraged to give an hour each week in adoration of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. St. Thomas is looking for people to commit to an hour a week in prayer and adoration.
